Mayoral asks
London’s Mayor will have a difficult task guiding London and TfL out of the pandemic and helping the city and its economy recover. Transport will be at the heart of London’s economic recovery when businesses re-open and people start to travel more.
Ahead of the 2021 London Mayoral election we produced a set of four key asks for the next mayoral term using the findings of our recent report on future transport, The Journey Ahead.
We want the Mayor of London to:
1) Write a new bus strategy to help improve bus services in London
2) Consult with disabled people on changes to London’s streets
3) Keep cash payments at all TfL stations
4) Keep bus fares as low as possible
You can read our asks in full on a poster we produced ahead of the election campaign.
