Alan Benson MBE receives posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award

Disabled rights campaigner Alan Benson MBE, who served as London TravelWatch Deputy Chair, has been awarded a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award at the Transport Times National Transport Awards. His wife Yvonne is pictured above collecting the Lifetime Achievement Award on Alan’s behalf.

Alan worked tirelessly to improve transport accessibility for disabled people, and was previously Chair of Transport for All, a disabled-led organisation that aims to improve transport provision for all.
