06 November 2025
This holiday season there will be engineering works taking place resulting in reduced services, station closures and disruptions affecting transport across the capital.
As usual, there will be no National Rail services on Christmas Day and very limited services by a small number of train companies (e.g. Southern) on Boxing Day.
The only TfL services that will be running on Christmas Day will be taxi and private hire services, Santander Cycles, electric scooter rental trials (in some boroughs), coaches and Dial-a-Ride (for registered members only).
