The ASLEF trade union has called strike action across much of the rail network in early December. This industrial action is likely to be very disruptive for passengers as train companies will not be able to run their normal timetabled services.

Strike action is expected to take place on Saturday 2, Sunday 3 Tuesday 5, Wednesday 6, Thursday 7 and Friday 8 December 2023.

There will also be an overtime ban from Friday 1 to Saturday 9 December 2023 which is also likely to impact services.
